The South End Open Market's opening weekend has come and gone. But in its wake lay the unveiling of CMYK Boston's potpourri of edgy art (Graffiti and Nude pictures topping the list), and the people loved it. Check it out... and just a quick note, the high caffeine content of Starbucks' mint mocha late frappuchino free samples is what really allowed this weekend to happen. So thank you Starbucks, thank you.

Eileen is a 24 3/4 year old self described cupcake junky. She enjoys getting lost (not too hard in Beantown), which has lead to an obsession with maps (don't worry she is seeking counseling). She knew she would be an artist when her first dream of becoming a spelling bee champion fell apart. Some of her favorite things include house paint, turkey basters, sugar, red wine, egg shells, instant gratification, pirates and raindrops on roses (or is it whiskers on kittens?). Her days are spent in her house in Everett, MA where she ducks every time a plane flies overhead. Her posse now also includes one really bad ass little rebel. The only aspiration she has in life is to make art and hope it can support her habit of staying warm and eating.
Justin Viglianti is an enigma wrapped in a conundrum wrapped in an even bigger enigma. Born in North America's fertile crescent known today as New Jersey, he currently resides in Boston's warehouse district during the fairer weather months, the rest of the time his whereabouts are unknown. Aside from bathing in crisp 20 dollar bills and endlessly searching for the ultimate crackerjack prize, Justin also enjoys indie rock, architecting, sucking at Halo, loving my snoogilypoof, bike riding in the mountains, seeing who will be voted off this season's biggest loser (seriously), and secretly romanticism his future movie career. If you want to find out more about Justin you'll have to wait till he gets his architecture blog up and running, in the interim just ask around at the local homeless shelters, they're surprisingly well informed.
Ashley is an all American Girl with a passion for pictures, horses, plants, and guns...that's right, guns. Born in 1983, she has since then repped westside Massachusetts to the fullest. Being raised by wolves ain't easy folks. It's not clear when, but she did move to NYC to get schooled in the art of keeping it real. Instead, she ended brainwashed with honors at the School of Visual Arts. She now resides in Somerville next to the round house. Quite a life she's had. Good thing she took pictures of trees and herself along the way.
Ali a.k.a. Snoogilypoof is an aficionado of all things second-hand. Her world revolves around pretty colors, drawing imaginary viruses, petting her pet worms, drinking red wine from Tuscany, and getting art supplies from the trash. She also has an unnatural obsession with wallpaper samples. She hates "nine to five", money and greed and sunny but freezing days (wait she still lives in Boston right?) people who only care about their appearance, and running out of cranberry juice. She really likes cranberry juice and that's not an understatement
Manifest Destitute is an Architect by trade who found Graffiti by Chance, but maybe it was the other way around. He's lived in Boston enough to experience the zero tolerance for Color Application in the streets. As a DJ on the side, he plays the rarest of Disco and noisiest Electronic Music. He has a ridiculous addiction to retro sneakers and vinyl records. A lover of cities with noisy streets and subway rides, he has traveled the world but made of Boston his little nest of Love. You'll usually find him crossing the Mass Ave. bridge or walking through Chinatown searching for the best chow foon. And yes...I will DJ your next loft party in exchange for ____. o_O!
